Youth Football Team
Football is a game comprising two teams. There are 11 members in both the football teams. The 11 men team in possession of the ball is called as offense. They try to advance the ball by throwing it and getting it into an area called 'end zone'. If the offense team manages to get the ball past the end zone, they score points. The other football team called as defense tries to take possession of the ball. If the defense team takes possession of the football, their roles are reversed. The football teams change ends after every 15 minutes of the match. The length of the football field is 100 yards and the width is 53 yards. The players should take an appropriate position in the football match. The players' position in the field determines the degree of fitness required by him. Football teams should have youth and the players should have an in depth knowledge of the defensive positions in order to win the match.
High School Football Team
The NFL grants many scholarship programs to the high school students. They appoint coaches who spend quality time with the players. Many college players in USA have expressed a desire to play in the NFL Football. The NFL has a system called draft in which the various teams of the league get to participate. The NFL team that has obtained the worst record in the previous year gets the first opportunity to select a College Football player in order to strengthen their team. The other teams also get a chance to select a player from college. This system is referred as 'draft pick'. Usually, these college players participate as second or third-string back ups. They get a chance to play only if the first-stringer is injured.
