Formula 1 Racing Game - Mclaren F1 Car - Ferrari Formula 1 Team

The Formula 1 world championship racing for drivers was established in the year 1950. F1 racing, also known as grand prix racing, is the most popular world championship among the single-seater auto racing. It is regarded as the most expensive sport in the world, with the annual team budgets going up to hundreds of millions of US dollars. Europe is the home of formula 1-fantasy races but these races are also held in America, Africa, Asia and Australia. F1 racing is based on a series of races that are held on custom-constructed road courses or closed-off street circuits. During 2003, F1 racing consisted of 16 races and in 2004 the F1 races will comprise a set of 18 races.

Formula 1 Racing Game

The term Grand Prix is commonly associated with Formula 1 Racing game. It refers to the principal Formula 1 race in a nation. An annual Grand Prix calendar was developed after the end of World War 1, consisting of national races, such as the French Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix. An annual award called the World Championship of Drivers began in 1950, and the winner was determined from F1 results each year.

The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the governing and sanctioning body for the FIA World Driver's Championship. The FIA' s competition committee sets the Formula 1 regulations, interprets them and judges any appeals or disputes. The Formula One Constructor's Association (FOCA) is an organization of the chassis builders (constructors) who design and build the cars that race in the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

At Imola in 1994, Ayrton Senna, the Brazilian racing icon, did not take the bend at Tamburello, and crashed at full speed into the concrete wall, 11 meters from the track. The wheels came off, but one wheel and its steering arm hit and penetrated Senna' s helmet and he suffered massive injuries. He was airlifted to Bologna hospital and placed on life-support, but was pronounced dead later that day. The race was stopped, and restarted, and eventually won by Michael Schumacher.

McLaren F1 Car

Bruce McLaren founded McLaren F1 car race team that is based in Woking, England. The team has been highly successful at the Formula One races since the 1980s. McLaren F1 won the drivers championships in 1997 and 1998 and won the constructors championships in 1999. The McLaren is an expensive road car priced at $1 million. BMW has designed and build this car that houses a 6.1 litre V12 engine capable of 627 bhp (486 kW). The McLaren F1 is currently the fastest production car ever made. The McLaren Formula one racing team is a merger of the McLaren team and Ron Dennis' personal F1 team Project4. McLaren F1 drivers for this season are David Coulthard, and Kimi Raikkonen.

Ferrari Formula 1 Team

Ferrari is an Italian manufacturer of racing cars that was formed by Enzo Ferrari, in the year 1946. The Ferrari is the oldest team in the Formula 1 championships. Ferrari has had a race team since the 1950, the first Ferrari Formula 1 car being the Tipo 125 F1. Ferrari formula 1 has totally won 13 constructor's championships including five consecutive constructor's championships during 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. They also won four consecutive drivers championships with Michael Schumacher in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003. Alberto Ascari, Niki Lauda, Jody Scheckter, Gilles Villeneuve and Michael Schumacher are some of the famous drivers of Ferrari Formula 1.

Formula 1 Racing Cars

The Formula 1 world championship races for car constructors were organized in 1958. The F1 racing regulations pertaining to racing cars are specific to the championships. The current Formula 1 regulations specify that the racing cars must necessarily be powered by 3.0 litre, naturally aspirated engines. The cars must also be designed to survive small and unavoidable F1 crashes during the races. Since the year 1984, three teams McLaren, Williams and Ferrari have been dominating the Championship races.

Rubens Barrichello

Rubens Barrichello was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in May 23, 1972. Barrichello entered into the formula Lotus series in the year 1990 and won the series championship in the same year. He also won the British Formula 3 championships in the year 1991. At the age of 19, he joined the Formula 3000 and in 1993, he signed up with Jordan Grand Prix. In the year 2000, Ferrari made Barrichello the #2 driver for Michael Schumacher. His first victory in formula one came in the same year in his 128th start at Hockenheim formula one race. In 2002, he finished second behind Schumacher in the Championships.

Juan Pablo Montoya

Juan Pablo Montoya was born on September 20, 1975 in Bogota, capital of Colombia. Montoya began Kart racing when he was very young and is now a Colombian motor racing driver. He participated and won many Kart races before he moved on to enter the international championships. Montoya won the Indianapolis 500 in the year 2000. He was the first driver to wind the event in his first attempt, since Graham Hill in the year 1966. In 2001, Montoya joined the Williams Formula 1 team, where he initially worked as a test driver. He won the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in his very first season. During 2003, he won the Monaco Grand Prix and the European Grand Prix races held in Germany.The 2004 Formula 1 fantasy has began to enthrall its racing fans. The F1 starts, F1 crashes, and F1 wins have added to the excitement.
