Outdoor Vacation - Outdoor Wedding Location

An outdoor vacation has come to mean several things. Shark baiting, swimming, fly-fishing, beach cricket, surfing and white water rafting are the most popular water sports for an outdoor vacation.

Outdoor Vacation:

The world is definitely getting smaller, thanks to the outdoor vacation enthusiasts. Thousands around the world are discovering the joy of an outdoor vacation. Families with younger children may plan hikes and camping trips for their little ones. An outdoor vacation for the more adventurous type may be water sports, safaris, vacationing in the deserts and the like.

Shark baiting, swimming, fly fishing, beach cricket, surfing, kayaking, and white water rafting are the most popular water sports for an outdoor vacation. Popular places of paranormal activity are the Bermuda triangle at Bermuda, the Crop Circles in England, Dogon Star in Mali, Moais in Easter Island, Dracula's Castle in Romania, Hanging Rock in Australia, Roswell in the US and Mummy's Curse in Egypt. If you like to explore on your own and at your own pace, a road trip is your best bet for an outdoor vacation. Road trips can be cross-town or inter-continental. The most popular are Route 66 in USA, Karakoram Highway in Pakistan, Paris to Dakar Rally, Eyre Highway in Australia, Dempster Highway in Canada, Grand Trunk Road in India, Pan-American Highway in Alaska, and the Peyote Road in USA. A desert as an outdoor vacation spot may seem ridiculous to some. But deserts offer inspiring landscapes, stunning sunsets and unique challenges that are definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Outdoor Wedding Loaction:

An outdoor wedding is a dream of many couples. Sunshine, and being surrounded by the nature and loved ones add to the joy of a wedding celebration. An outdoor wedding too takes a lot of planning, forethought and attention to detail. Nature provides the decoration for the outdoor wedding location, but you might like to have a wedding arch as the focal point of the ceremony. It is wonderful backdrop for wedding photos.

There are some important things to keep in mind before deciding to have an outdoor wedding. Choose a location that has both indoor and outdoor facilities, so that the weather doesn't spoil your wedding. If you are not able to do so, try renting a tent to accommodate your guests. Also make sure you know the rules of the venue and you have access to the necessary amenities. Have a ready supply of Citronella candles. They add shimmer and keep away the bugs. The caterers must be experienced to serve guests in an outdoor wedding. Inform out-of-town guests of the weather conditions so that they can dress appropriately. Take special care of elderly guests and those with limited mobility.

Make the most of your special day with some careful planning and forethought.
